-Thanks Dude, I wish I knew of you guys a long time ago, you could have gotten so much more business from us, anyway you guys are doing a hell of a job and we’ll be working together for a long time to come. You guys are great! Best regards to your whole crew from the DV1 Crew.

-Man, Please save the money & buy a whole clip! I can’t stress that enough. My swap was a total complete hell. I hate it – it was so hard to find everything – make everything work and I still don’t have all the parts I need. I need a solenoid resistor that you can’t buy in the states, and you can’t buy it from Japan. You have to get it from a wrecked All Trac and there are none to be had. Its just like this all the way through the swap. Do the better, easier, faster, smarter way and get a front clip. It’s so worth it. Then you can sell the tranny, brakes, suspension parts and whatever else.

-I thought I would share my experience at JARCO today. I went to pick up my 20V Levin front clip today and was pleasantly surprised. These guys are great! They are all very down to earth and incredibly hospitable. No BS or attitudes like you get from most people. Product was great and they have a pretty big in stock inventory. They even gave free JDM " Twin Cam 20" body decals. If you are looking for an engine, tranny, or both call them. They get an A+ from me!

-I totally agree! I dealt with Tim down there at JARCO and he was the utmost professional while being down to earth at the same time and that combo equals great business. He really helped me out with my jspec mirrors, I was able to get everything thanks to him...wiring, switch and all! I highly recommend them as well.

-My visit to JARCO, Inc. Wow. What a hell of an operation those guys have there! What a group of guys! James the owner, Turned 30 this Friday. I got there in time to get invited to his birthday party at his parents house. Tim took me out there and we had a great time. Very nice family! Great food. Great gifts! Soap on a rope as a gift with your mother standing right there! Even funnier when the soap is shaped like a butt plug! LOL. He even got a Richard Petty NASCAR driving gift! Man that would be so cool!

The next morning bright and early we were at the shop. I had a wood all morning! I forget the engine classification, but it had twin plugs, turbo, and was a Toyota front engine rear drive... man that would look awesome in a AE86!

Lots, and I mean lots of Supra twin turbo engines, and single turbos. Lots of clips! I have lots of pictures, but I am on my in-laws computer with a dial up. I will post them tonight. I got to see a 20v Blacktop... well just the clip as the car was up on the 3rd shelf in storage waiting for delivery to one of our board users. Pretty ugly car that engine was in. They had a bunch of 4age TVIS long blocks. I got to see how they process these engines. Once you order your long block it is then processed, new water pump, main seals, and other replaceable parts replaced. This is how they can offer a warranty on their long blocks. Need a 22R for you pickup? They have a large selection of rebuilt engines. They were moving into new and larger digs when I was there. So they still have lots of work to do.

One thing that was really cool was the amount of wheels they have! Super rare Japan only wheels! 3 piece 9 pound wheels from the 80s... lots of old school stuff. Some have dings and such, but nothing that can’t be fixed. serious selection of 13" to 16" wheels. I am going to get my racing wheel from then when I get some more money.

They have a really good collection of exhaust systems. some super cool 3" systems for MK2s, and many others that could be adapted to any MR2. Very cool stuff. There was this dual muffler, dual exit system that was so light, I thought it would be heavy! They had one set of old school TRD sport springs for a AW11. I didn't have anymore money since I picked up a bunch of spare body panels for the race car. They even had a set of adjustable struts for a SW20. Some super cool Japan stuff.

And for those that are attending NOPI, wait until you see what they are bringing! Man... sworn to secrecy! So I now have a 1994 Toyota Levin front clip. It has a true 42,000 miles on it. The engine is clean except for the normal small amount of aluminum rust. It was owned by a young woman. I have the complete service history as all the books were in the glove box! I can't read Japanese, I will scan them as it will make for good reading on my website, where I also have videos of my car that are to adult for the board

I also got 4 J-spec doors, they have no door beams, they are much lighter. tinted glass too... it seems like the glass is lighter also. 2 door panels, 1989 and black with good switches, this is perfect for my Godzilla car that is going to have a black interior. I also got another rear trunk lid with a non- brake light spoiler. And a front hood. The Levin has some basic round gauges. It looks like they will be easy to remove and place in a new face-plate in the AW11 dash. I will just have to make a cover that shows MPH instead of KPH. The red line is at 7500 rpm. 3 gauges, water temp, fuel, oil pressure, small dial gauges and one of them has all the warning lights built into it. So this will make it much easier to adapt it to the aw11. Speedo goes to 180kph. Tach to 9000 I think. Basic white on black, just what I like. Very simple looking, will make a sweet looking install. The dash also has a very cool looking heater/ac controller. I am going to see if this can be adapted, it looks about the same size. Lots of other cool switches that can be used to update the look of the 1986 model aw11. Too bad I can't adapt the front headlights!
